Property rights and ugly neighbors in Arkansas

We have no recourse

The gas company put a well in about 800 feet from my home. We can hear the drilling all the time. We had just put in a well to supply our home with water and it ran dry. We suspected the gas company had something to do with it. These companies can do whatever they want and we have no recourse.

They send people out that pretend to be concerned

They put a compressor in the well. It’s always noisy, it smells like diesel and carbon monoxide and the exhaust blows right at our home. They send people out here to pretend to be concerned about us, but they are just here to pacify us. We know they aren’t going to actually fix anything.

It’s really frustrating, there’s no peace and quiet anymore. Out here you respect your neighbors and expect them to respect you, but the gas company is a bad neighbor.
